11:00 AM, Stay Safe, Stay Connected, Online Cyber-Safety Workshop

Saturday, May 30, 2020

Now that we are spending more time on our computers and devices for work, school, and to stay connected, it's especially important to stay safe and secure online. Thomas Lukins from the County of Humboldt Information Technology Department will be on hand to give you tips and tricks on how to protect your information, how to browse safely, and how to ensure that you stay protected as you connect online.

The Library welcomes Thomas Lukins and others from the County of Humboldt's I.T. Department for a one-hour workshop on
Cyber-Safety
Cyber safety. Protect your online devices and accounts from security problems.
How often do you need to change your password?
What is phishing and how do you spot it?
How likely are you to be hacked (and why?)

During this free Zoom program, representatives from County of Humboldt's I.T. Department show you how to stay safe while online.
To sign up, please use the online link above or call us at 707-269-1915.
