11:30 a.m., Eureka Library, PAWS to Read with Therapy Dog Rufus
Saturday, November 16, 2019
Meet Rufus, a licensed therapy dog, and his human, Jean Ann. Rufus loves playing at the beach, digging in the garden, and listening to stories. Read to Rufus, tell him a story, or just sit with him and talk for a while. Reading to a dog is a low-pressure way for children to practice their reading skills, and fun besides! A parent or legal guardian must sign a permission form before children read with Rufus, and must accompany children to the story room. Stop by the desk in the children's room to complete the form and sign up for a turn with Rufus.

Rufus is a skilled therapy dog.
Here he is with his human, Jean Ann.
He loves to listen to stories!
Come meet Rufus and read him a story.
