Join seven-time author Margaret Kellermann for an easygoing journal-keeping workshop for ages 8 to 98, plus a book reading and signing of Margaret's journal-style novel, 'Annie California'. Bring a notebook and your favorite pen, or use the library’s paper and pen for this one-and-a-half-hour workshop.

The cover for Annie California. a painting of a landscape with a river and distant mountain. Margaret Kellerman hugs her dog at a local beach.
Annie California is a middle-grade book
written in journal format by the fictional Annie,

a smart, brave and funny 10-year-old from Eureka.
She's the truth-teller on a family road trip
that gets more and more dysfunctional.

The book has been a hit with
adults as well as the intended audience
of 8-to-12-year-old children.
If you want a copy but can't attend today,
it's also available on Amazon.
