An epic tale set in the dying days of the Old West, in which a struggle to control water in a dusty desert town embroils three hard-bitten gunmen in a epic clash of greed, honor and revenge. Join Barry Evans for a special screening of this classic "Spaghetti Western," directed by Sergio Leone, and starring Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Claudia Cardinale and Jason Robards. Barry will introduce the film, and facilitate discussion after the screening.

Barry Evans may be seen pedaling around Old Town Eureka with his wife Louisa Rogers. A recovering civil engineer, he is the author of two McGraw-Hill popular science books and has taught science and history. His name may be familiar to you from his column, Field Notes, regularly published in the North Coast Journal.
