Drop in to the Garberville Library for the 'game of kings'. If you enjoy exercising your skill, strategy and guile, here's a chance to match your wits and skills with like-minded players. If you want to learn, this is a good moment for that as well!

Garberville Library Chess Club

Chess Club. Queen, king, bishop, castle, knight, pawn, are the chess pieces.

Chess players of all ages are welcome to settle in at the Garberville Library for an hour or so of play. Newcomers are welcome, and there's a teacher on the spot to help anybody learn. If you're a fierce and skilled competitor, you might find a challenger or two!
