Distribute Responses to Committee Questions, Receive Other Responses From Applicants

Members of the Citizens' Advisory Committee send county staff questions to be forwarded to applicants regarding their applications. Some applicants submitted written responses to county staff (attached to this item), and others may be present at today's meeting to deliver oral responses.

Of the questions submitted, the following agencies did not deliver a written response to county staff, and your Committee may wish to seek oral responses from those agencies.
  • Application 1 - Adult Protective Services/DA
  • Application 13 - Free to Fly Single Mom's Fund
  • Applications 21, 22, 23 - Sheriff's Office
  • Application 26 - Loleta Community Chamber of Commerce
D.5.

Rank Applications

Your Committee in years past has used a weighted 1-2-3 scoring system whereby each Committee member assigns a 1, 2 or 3 value to each application with 1 meaning the application is most preferred, and 3 least. The totals were then added up and the applications with the lowest total scores were considered the best applications for funding recommendation.

Your Committee may choose to use this same scoring methodology this year, or another methodology. The attached spreadsheet is ready to use with the same scoring methodology as years past.
