The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office Garberville Station is located in the heart of redwood county at the southern end of Humboldt County. The area is considered to be one of the premier recreational areas of Humboldt County, which includes activities such as boating, hiking, salmon, and ocean fishing as well as access to many beautiful state-maintained redwood parks. Garberville is a 1-hour drive south of Eureka, on U.S Highway 101 or the alternate scenic Avenue of the Giants.

The Garberville Station serves the communities of Garberville, Redway, Shelter Cove, Miranda, Phillipsville, Weott, Myers Flat, and Alderpoint. The station is staffed with one Sergeant, five Deputies, and one Legal Office Assistant.
