Visiting Inmates
Due to COVID-19, the Humboldt County Correctional Facility has made modifications to its inmate visitation procedures. A limit of four inmates and no more than two visitors per inmate will be allowed per visitation session for social distancing purposes. Hand sanitizer will be available in the public visitation lobby and a disinfectant wipe will be offered to visitors to take with them to their visit. All visitation booths will be cleaned following each session. Additionally, all visitors will be required to wear a facial covering in compliance with the Humboldt County Health Officer’s Facial Coverings Order.
Inmates housed in the Humboldt County Correctional Facility are allowed at least two half-hour visiting sessions per week unless they have lost their visiting privileges because of a disciplinary sanction. Visiting sessions begin on the hour and half hour. Inmates are only allowed one visiting session per day. Visiting is on a first come, first serve basis.
