Library Meeting Rooms
Meeting at the Humboldt County Library
Meeting space is available in Arcata Library, Eureka Main Library, McKinleyville Library, and Trinidad Library. When not in use for County or Library-sponsored programs and meetings, library meeting space may be available to non-profit civic, educational and cultural groups or organizations. Fees and insurance may be required depending on the room and use. All meetings must be free and open to the public, and must not disrupt normal library operation.
Eureka Library Large Meeting Room
This is the largest room and has a maximum standing capacity of 150, or 80 seated. The room includes a screen, projector, and sound system, tables (optional), and chairs. Arcata Library Conference Room
This room has a maximum standing capacity of 55, or 33 seated. Use of the room can include a projector, a whiteboard, tables (optional) and chairs. Light refreshments may be served. McKinleyville Library Conference Room
While it can hold up to 40 people standing, this room is arranged as a conference room with a large immovable table seating ten, plus additional counter space and study carrels capable of seating about ten more people. The room includes a screen and projector. During library hours this room is in use as the main study and wi-fi area for the library. Outside of library hours, this room may be reserved via the McKinleyville Community Services District and operates according to their rules.
Trinidad Library Meeting Room
This small room can hold about 8 people seated. It is in use as a library seating area during open hours, and people go in and out to use library materials shelved there. When not in use for a library program, small group discussions and study sessions may be held in this room on a casual, first-come, first served basis, in the understanding that the room continues to be open to all during such use. There is no fee. This room is part of the library and operates under library rules. It is not available outside of library hours.
