VPAT Information for Vendors

As a vendor for County of Humboldt: if your product is a web application that will be used by the public, we request that you submit a VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template) to ensure your application is accessible.  Legislation, policy, and standards related to this request are listed under "Sources" below.

The submitted VPAT should be version 2.0 or higher and have the WCAG and 508 sections filled out.  VPATs are provided/updated by the Information Technology Industry Council (ITIC):

We recommend that you use the VPAT INT edition and fill out the 508 and WCAG sections to completion (the EN 301 section contains requirements specific to Europe)
