Will the Library answer questions by email?
As remains true for many rural libraries, the Humboldt County Library does not provide email reference service. Please ask your questions by telephone, at 707-269-1905. If it's not easy to use the phone, use the California Relay Service. Dial 711 to access this service. If you are out of the area and wish to ask a genealogical or local history question by mail, you may use our Obituary Search Service or Local History Search Service. These research services are available for a ten dollar fee. - Obituary & Local History Service info. here.
