6:30 p.m., Eureka Library Family Literacy Night with Storyteller Ross Mackinney

Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Ross Mackinney has been juggling, telling stories, and studying folklore since his youth. He studied Celtic Folklore at UC Berkeley, and in Wales, where he performed at local festivals and for the BBC television and radio. Since 1988, Ross has taught juggling, drama, and speech to students of all ages in addition to his performing career. Come enjoy the fun! Each child in attendance will receive a free book, new or gently used. The mission of the Humboldt Literacy Project is to provide Humboldt County adults the literacy skills they need to function on the job, in the family, and in the community. They offer free and confidential services to all adults 16 years and over. For details, call the Humboldt Literacy Project at 445-3655.
