Saturday, January 14, 2017

Is your family ready for kindergarten? Parents of upcoming kindergarten students are invited to a question-and-answer session with Cindi Kaup of the Humboldt County Office of Education. Parents will learn about the variety of options available in Humboldt County, including both transitional and traditional kindergarten. For Spanish speakers, Agustín Amaro, Learning Specialist for English Language Learner programs will provide interpretation. He'll also present information about learning English in kindergarten and the importance of maintaining a child's home language, and will help answer questions.
