California Immigrant Guide

California Immigrant Guide

The Governor’s Office has launched an online clearinghouse called the “California Immigrant Guide” that provides information on state-funded programs benefitting immigrants in California. The website can be found at www.immigrantguide.ca.gov

In an effort to centralize existing information, the California Immigrant Guide links to state agency webpages with useful information on programs and services for immigrants. The website is ADA compliant and is translated into the most commonly spoken languages by immigrants and refugees in California: Arabic, Armenian, Cantonese, Farsi, Khmer, Korean, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. The website currently highlights four main program areas: Learn English, Find Jobs and Training, Education, and Legal Help and Citizenship.

Given the recent rescission of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program,  the website has information for DACA grantees on accessing legal services to renew, as well as information on he impact of this decision on key state programs.

We hope you will find this to be a helpful tool.
